The house feels like stepping into a storybook, charming and cozy with a comfy bed that I’d want to take home! The breakfast was delicious, and I loved enjoying it outside while soaking in the lovely garden views. Alex was incredibly helpful with local tips. 😊

Charming old house with stunning character. Low ceilings made movement tricky, especially in the bathroom.

Warm hospitality and charming accommodations
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm welcome and felt right at home. The room was incredibly comfortable and the power shower was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was a treat, with a lovely menu that included options to suit every taste. I particularly enjoyed sipping from the honesty bar while relaxing in the beautiful garden. One thing that could be improved is clearer signage for the bus schedules outside, as it can be a bit confusing at first.

great experience but some room for improvement
The breakfast was DELICIOUS! ! with high-quality ingredients that filled me up for the day. The shared lounge area offered a cozy ambiance, with plenty of books and board games to enjoy. I absolutely loved the lovely garden view from my room, making mornings even more delightful as I sipped my coffee outside.
The double room felt a bit cramped, which may not suit everyone.

Loved the Double Room with Garden View! The bed was super comfy—honestly one of the best I've ever slept in. Plus, the power shower was fantastic! Just a bit cramped in there, but that added to its charm. The garden view from the room was such a nice way to start the day, sipping breakfast outside. It was a peaceful retreat! Would totally come back just for that comfy bed.

Had a fantastic time enjoying the quirky charm of our cozy room, and the homemade breakfast in the garden was a delightful start to the day! The peaceful seating area and beautiful walking paths were perfect for relaxing after our adventures. Just a heads-up, the room was a bit snug, but it added to the character of the place. 😊

Charming old abode with a lovely garden! The host was incredibly helpful, pointing us to great spots and making our stay enjoyable. The local buses just outside made exploring nearby towns a breeze.
My room felt like a funhouse with slanted walls—good luck if you're taller than a garden gnome! Oh, and the WiFi? It's more like 'Wi-no' due to the thick walls!

lovely stay but a few minor improvements needed
The superb breakfast included fresh mushrooms and a variety of healthy options that catered to all tastes. I particularly appreciated having access to the dining room for enjoying takeaways, which was thoughtful given the limited dining options nearby. The garden view from my room added a magical touch, making mornings delightful.
The bus stop outside could be a bit noisy at times.
